Day Wise Itinerary: –
Day 01: – Delhi Arrival – Dalhousie (560 km, 13-14 hrs journey approx)
Meals: – Dinner
On arrival at Delhi you will be met, assisted and drive to Dalhousie hotel. Check in the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

DALHOUSIE


In western Himachal Pradesh, the hill station of Dalhousie is full of old world charm and holds lingering echoes of the Raj era. It covers an area of 14 sq. km. and is built on five hills – Kathlog, Patreyn, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun. It is named after the British governor General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. The town’s average height is 2036 m, and is surrounded by varied vegetation – pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendron.

Day 02: – Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie /05th Jan., 2019
Meals- Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast proceed towards sightseeing of Khajjiar. Khajiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays but this species can be spotted here. Overnight stay at hotel.

Often called India’s Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km. along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods. At Khajiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to Khajji Nag. Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers.

Day 03: – Dalhousie – Chamba – Dalhousie (55 km, 01-02 hrs journey approx) /06th Jan., 2019
Meals- Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, drive to Chamba and visit Bhuri Singh Museum, Lakshmi Narayan Temple and after that free to shopping at Chamba local market. In the evening return to Dalhousie and overnight stay at hotel.

Chamba is a town in the Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, in northern India. According to the 2001 Indian census the town is situated on the banks of the Ravi River (a major tributary of the Trans-Himalayan Indus River), at its confluence with the Sal River. Chambial were the Rulers of Chamba State [1] Chambials use suffix Varmans.

Day 04: – Dalhousie – Delhi Departure (570 km, 10-11 hrs journey approx) /07th Jan., 2019
Meals- Breakfast
