Ganesha idols are seen on the beach in Mumbai, India on Sep 22, 2010 on the last day of Ganpati festival. The 10-day hindu festival, celebrating the birthday of Lord Ganesha who is widely worshiped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune, attracts tens of thousands people.

Very soon the best time in the year is going to begin in Mumbai and Pune as the Ganesh Festival is just about to start. It is this festival when the entire city experiences a rapture and when their zest is at its peak! To the ones who don’t know what is festival all about –

Ganesh Chaturthi is a birthday of Lord Ganesha which is celebrated by Hindus around the world. Yes, you heard it right! The fest begins with the arrivals of Ganesha’s clay idols where everyone screams ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’- Hail Lord Ganeshan and then the puja is conducted with the hindu rituals and the tradition . This festival is continuously celebrated 10 days and ends with the parading and immersion of the statues into a water body.

  1. Sí está muy muy chido el edificio y le dan un toque chic esos colores, bien fashion ahorita que esos colores andan de moda en el diseño de ropa urbana. Vaya que hay elementos en algunos museos que se antojan para apollarics a diseños de casas y eso.
